Been here a few times...for you tourists out there, this is a gov't owned & operated casino, so expect adequate, not so polite service, and be prepared for many, many rules that you wouldn't normally find at any other casino you might be used to.
As for one example, you can only drink in designated areas.
You CANNOT drink just anywhere you want to...like while sitting at a slot machine or blackjack table. You can ONLY DRINK AT THE BARS, and the service there is well, non-existent. You'll get your first round of drinks at your table in the bar/lounge, but if you want another round, you'll have to get them yourself by walking up to the bar...seriously.
Coffee, or drinks purchased at the McDonald's (yes, McDonald's fast food restaurant) inside the casino however, are fine to carry around anywhere. Don't ask why, I have NO idea, but this is a fact, and ridiculous.

The aquarium in the middle of the casino is pretty cool, and there is a waterfall leading to a downstairs bar. This bar, however, will want a $7.00 cover charge to enter, and it looked like no one was under the age of 40, and the dj was playing rap music. It was kinda funny to look at these 40-60 year olds dancing to 50 Cent.

All of the machines take bills only, which means $5 bills minimum must be inserted to play anything, including a penny machine (they got rid of all coin machines).

There is no craps whatsoever. Only 2 roulette tables. The rest is poker and blackjack. Minimums are $3.00 and up.

They have live entertainment on their stage on the weekends only, and judging by the schedule, some of the acts coming in are actually pretty popular musicians, so cudos there.

If you are a smoker, you must go outside and stand under a non heated tent. Standing anywhere BUT underneath the tent will get you a grumpy security guard telling you to "move it".
I'm honestly scared for tourists to come here. It just really, really sucks. And I say this, beacuse looking around at the people there, they all just look bored and miserable.

The attached hotel is Canad Inns, so we all know what that means...wayyyy overpriced, and wayyyy understaffed.
Try the Southbeach Casino north of Winnipeg, but again, don't expect great service. It's so over-run with regulars, and every employee just seems miserable, and I think their hotel is Canad Inns as well, BUT you can drink anywhere, and all of the (non acho) drinks are FREE!

Gambling portion of the casino is ok, although hand payouts are set at 250 which is the lowest I've ever seen at a casino, I was told it's been done to make it look like more people are winning. WORST PART IS - the restaurants, service is always terrible I have been a few times and it never changes. Menu is overpriced and the food is totally uninspired. They have also really let the place go, there used to be a talking pirate animatron and lots of animals as well as a volcano that erupted in the casino making it a neat place to see. Well they either shut these things off or they broke and were never fixed, which is sad but right on course for this dive.

You need to walk down the hallway towards the lobby to get any semblance of an adequate wifi signal, try to use your iPad in the room and prepare to be frustrated to no end. Beds are hard, pillows too soft. Air handling unit is as loud as a tractor, so you can't keep it going to sleep and wake up instead in a pool of sweat. Noise from the filthy parking lot outside can be unbearable. 1980's style at 2013 prices. A 28 inch flat screen that gets 20 channels doesn't define an 'updated King Room'
