  Consistently tasty food. Best Indian food place in town! I have come here dozens of times in the last couple years and I always look forward to certain buffet dishes like the mung bean salad, crab in mustard sauce, lamb curry, butter chicken... To name a few.

  I had some of the best Indian food I ever had. Everything was fresh and tasty. The service was excellent. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes and fresh Naan bread on order. I highly recommend this restaurant.

  This is my favorite restaurants for Indian Cuisine in Winnipeg. I strongly recommend the buffet taking just a little bit of each thing that looks good on your first visit to see what you like. The selection changes but some of the popular dishes like butter Chicken have always been available when I’ve gone.
  While it can get fairly busy and the buffet line can be a bit crowded at times in my opinion it’s well worth the patience and crowding for the excellent food. My experiences have largely been at supper, I have heard that sometimes lunch is a bit chaotic though my own infrequent lunch experiences were all excellent.
  The service is outstanding. Even at its busiest I’ve always felt every effort is made to accommodate me as soon as possible. I only recall one service problem in 20 years and as it was handled by one of the owners so well I can’t even remember what my specific complaint was. I do remember it was taken seriously and resolved quickly and well.
  The only specific recommendation is if you really appreciate Indian Cuisine skip the beef dishes. It should be no surprise that from a culture that did not historically eat beef that they are not the best of the available dishes in my opinion.

  Phenomenal Indian food. Such an explosion of different spices and flavours, it's hard to decide what to gorge on next. Particularly delicious is the spiced Okra, which is slightly sweet, smokey, and has an interesting but not unpleasant texture. 2nd place goes to the lamb curry.
  
  Make sure to stock up on a selection from the "pickle bar" to compliment and contrast your flavours; they range from spicy to salty to sour.
  
  Wine selection is pretty bad, only the house red is offered by the glass, and it is practically undrinkable - order a bottle of something better if you're in a group of more than one and don't repeat my mistake. I would have loved a nice red to pop those spices out even further, which was mildly dissapointing.
  
  The rice pudding (Kir) was a nice end to a delicious meal.
