  Pretty well prepared latte and I am very picky with my coffee so I would have given 4 stars but the poor customer service took a star away. They refused to use my tumbler because it is not from their store. I bought reusable tumbler to save environment but they rather have me use their paper cup and plastic lid. I asked if they would grind coffee beans if I purchase whole bean and was told to go with pre ground ones because they don't grind whole beans for customers. I asked if the latte I was getting was very sweet because I don't usually enjoy sweet beverages. The employee gave answer with an attitude. Very cute nice place but I don't think I will go there again.

  Great Kosher selections, fun mix of Israeli and Italian food with a myriad of flavoured Illi lattes topping out the list. They didn't go halfway on decor and furnishings. Definitely a welcome addition to the western edge of River Heights. Plus, the owners are great people. Enough said.

  I love this place! Was only briefly in Winnipeg, but stopped here for one of my favorite kosher meals out... ever! Great food -- really tasty and fresh. Wide menu, interesting combos. Comfort food and more adventurous. Drinks were awesome... Cocktails! And I loved the atmosphere... so well done! Not your typical kosher frump, but bright! Stylish! Clean and fun.

  Ber Max is always a treat. A neighbourhood (River Heights) favourite, especially amongst the local community of Orthodox jews . The coffees are great. The salads and sandwiches are delicious. The sweets are my favourite, of course. No meat here. Great for vegetarians and vegans. Delicious crepes fill a hole in the crepe scene in Winnipeg. Prices are higher but the quality and the setting merit the prices.
