  The good:
  Food: excellent - the cooks know what they are doing.
  
  Bar environment - good with adequate TV setup and they gladly give you the controller when you'd like to put the hockey games on.
  
  Location: love having a bar and grille in the hotel; great to come in after a long day, stroll in the bar, eat and drink and not worry about driving home.
  
  The not so good:
  Bar staff: I have to comment the bar/grille staff not out of malicious intent, but because me and my coworker were flabbergasted at the "show". The bartender seemed pretty clueless most of the time and really didn't seem up to the task of running a bar; the place was about 20% full at most and you could tell she was very flustered and quality of service reduced even more at that point. Anytime she asked something of the bar backs/wait staff (surprised there was any needed) they kind of moaned and groaned, took two of them to change a "keg" (5 gallon), to which they still needed instruction from the bartender after about 5 minutes. Total time for the staff to change the keg of the beer everyone was drinking was bout 1hr (I honestly could've done the task in about 5 minutes); and her response was not "we're changing the keg" it was "we're out of that", even when the keg had been changed. Bartender seemed to have mixed priorities, none of which focused on the patrons, more towards cleaning glasses, and mundane, unnecessary tasks that the bar backs should've been doing. We really weren't sure what was going on but we knew that John Taffer would've fired pretty much the whole bar and hired people would actually had a sense of good bar service and organization.

  Absolutely terrible. While in Winnipeg on business, I dropped in for dinner one evening. Ordered some chicken wings, and what I thought was something more appealing than simple deep fried cheese balls (posted as a dinner menu special in the elevators). I'm not a big fan of spicy food so I ordered the mild wings. According to my waitress, mild is spicy and I only found that out after my mouth was on fire.
  The food/beverage manager of this restaurant needs to look over the menu because the cooks, and that's what I'll call them, have little experience as to what mild, medium and hot mean to paying customers.
  Would not recommend eating here. The one thing they can't mess up is bottled beer.

  Food took almost 2 hours while there was only 3 small groups in the restaurant. Serving staff were friendly and fast. Food was barely warm and mediocre at best.
