  Used to be excellent, has degraded a fair amount since being purchased by Sobeys. The layout is good but products are frequently out of stock. Self checkout is great but the decision to move the air miles question to the start is annoying, it stops from scanning and the logical timing is at the end when you are already in your wallet or purse to get your payment out.

  I always find what I'm looking for. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are a little high. Usually no lune up's.

  Clean store, good selection of goods and friendly staff.
  Edit (16 May 17): Recently bought a bunch of flowers for Mother's Day. The floral manager, Andrea, was very friendly. She helped me out and made an amazing arrangement. My mom loved it. If you need flowers go there.

  I needed deli fancy sandwiches for 12 for an unexpected gathering and had no luck calling around to stores to see who could do up platters for me immediately. When I called Safeway at Henderson​ and Chief Pegus, they said no problem! and got to work on them right a way. They did a beautiful and delicious job in record time. A big thank you to the deli team for all their efforts!

  Hard to find fresh plain new york cheesecake. They have it along with other flavours (including chocolate which is quite popular and sells out quickly) of a decent size and price. Try it instead of paying 40 bucks for an overly sweet one.
