  Sal's isn't really anything special, but it's a Winnipeg classic, and the Henderson location is one of the better ones. Stepping into a Sal's feels a bit like stepping back in time. The food is okay, but nothing to go crazy over. The price is decent (especially on Tuesdays). The service is good. But it all feels nostalgic and classic.
  
  Nothing beats a garden skillet at 2AM after a night out. The North End skillet is also a staple. The veggie burger is awful though.

  Took 40 minutes to get 2 simple breakfast orders.. when we showed up there were 3 people working plus a cook and halfway through our wait the manager and one worker left leaving 1 girl serving a restaurant over half full. To top it all off I was given cutlery that was hardly washed from the previous use. Not impressed with this establishment..

  Always great food and fast friendly service. Always get Connie b as my waitress and there's never anything that has to go back with special requests I make. Absolutely love this place.
