  It tasted like I remember it as a child. The double chicken legs and sauce were delicious! I opted for mashed potatoes instead of fries. They had an odd texture / taste. Either powdered or over whipped. Next time I'll have the fries.

  First off Swiss Chalet in Ontario is amazing. Swiss Chalet in Manitoba not so much!!
  
  Ordered appetizers which never came! It took us eating our whole meal before we saw our waitress again! We informed her we didn't receive our appetizers and we were reassured we wouldn't be charged for them! I would hope not as we didn't receive them. She did apologize but offered no solution. It clearly was her mistake and if it was me I would have offered taking the appetizers home for free or free dessert.
  
  Some of our food was borderline cold. Quality of our main dishes was good.
  
  Will not be coming back due poor customer service.

  I'm from Ontario so I like Swiss Chalet. They should have stayed in Ontario though. This is the worst Swiss Chalet I've ever been to. We ordered the spinach dip and it was so clearly obvious that it had been reheated in a microwave. It was watery and looked sickly. We went there around 1pm on a Friday and the dining room wasn't crowded at all, yet it took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive. They were so understaffed that our server was also serving as hostess and dishwasher (not her fault by any means). To top off our experience, the water coming out of the taps in the bathroom was ice cold and would not heat up. I wish I could have the same dining experiences I had in Ontario Swiss Chalets. Unfortunately this was not the case.

  Server was excellent. I ordered the crispy half chicken. It was huge! I ended up taking half of it home. Breading was laid on to thick, and it all fell off easily. Meh, they should just stick with what they know, which is rotisserie. Jalapeño mashed potatoes were good though!

  My parents choice to celebrate thier 41st Anniversary with the family. A party of 9... well done!
  
  Rebecca was our waitress and she was amazing, she was on top of everything with such professionalism and hospitality.
  
  Food was really good... some minor issues but handled quick and easily.
  
  Thank you.... will be back
