  I went to Vern's yesterday to buy a pizza for my grandson. I went to Vern's on McPhillips Street. The young man that made the pizza was not only handling the toppings he was also talking on his cell phone, touching the cash register and wiping his nose with his hands. When he put the parchment paper on top of the cooked pizza he crumbled it up with his dirty hands and placed it on the pizza before closing the box. I was sickened. He never once washed his hands of put on plastic gloves or both. I had already prepaid for the pizza. I left the store with the pizza and tossed it in the garbage by Little Ceasar's Pizza where I bought another fresh clean pizza. I will never go to Vern's again. They need to step up on their hygiene practices big time.

  Bread sticks had a funny taste on them and you could hear the people making the pizza making fun of a disabled old man that was in the store too. Unbelievable bad.

  So, not only did Vern's Pizza send my order to another part of the city, they lied to me about sending a new pizza and tried to sell me the old one after an hour and half. Also, the young man on the phone was short to me and actually hung up on me what I asked what happening with my order ("...I'll call you right back" and he never did).
  
  They definitely need to work on their customer service and organizational skills.

  THEY HAVE GOOD PIZZA, BUT WHEN I ORDERED ONLINE WITH THE AREA CODE 431. I CALLED ONE HOUR LATER THEY SAID" YOU PUT THE WRONG NUMBER." THIS WAS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME I WILL ORDER ONLINE AT VERN'S PIZZA
