  Worst steak i've ever had in what is supposed to be a high-end steak house. Took my friends from Toronto. Overpriced. Steak was gristly and underweight. Was like eating at a bad chain.

  Andrew was an excellent server. Food was amazing. Tenderloin, tender and flavourful. New York strip also. Vegetable medley was al dente, perfect. Cheesecake and apple crumble were scrumptious.

  We visited here for my fiancée's birthday and we had an excellent time. The food was very good with both steaks cooked exactly as we requested them. We ordered the Caesar salad and of course, in Hy's fashion it is made in front of you. A bit of a novelty but it was a wonderfully delicious salad.
  
  It is a pricey place but I felt it was well worth it.

  The food is spot on but priced a little higher than it deserves to be. We've had issues with service on more than one visit and have no interest in returning. Last waiter was amused that my wife was allergic to blue crab!
