  Went for lunch the other day and while the atmosphere was lovely and service really good, the food was like substandard diner food. My husband had the open faced prime rib sandwich, the beef was cold, gravy was gelatinous and seemed like it was from a mix and his fries were hard and crunchy. My chicken breast sandwich, while not horrible, wasn't exactly something I'd cross the street for. Chicken was a little overcooked , dry, stringy and bland. The whole thing was just sort of blah. For the price I would definitely not "skip the Keg" as you will usually get good tasting food there, with the good service and atmosphere because in the end I think the quality of food is the most important thing when your paying that much money for a chicken sandwich

  Good old Ray and Jerry's, a Winnipeg institution. Decor is reminiscent of the 60's' which has kinda has that crooner night club feel. Service an be bit or miss but generally is okay. Portions are large, I would recommend the sliced prime rib sandwich, it's huge, cooked to order, and delicious. It's not a cheap lunch but nice for something different. Give it a shot.

  The food was great, the steak was awesome and I definitely would recommend it. My wife had the prime rib and she didn't enjoy it as much as a piece of my steak..

  Great venue and atmosphere. Real classy place. Steak was superb and wait staff attentive. Definitely gives this place a try.
